How to use dog gravy with kibble

A little pour. A much more interesting bowl. Our chilled dog gravy is made to go over your dog’s usual complete food, adding flavour and moisture without changing the whole mealtime routine.

Choose, pour, chilled

  1. Choose the right recipe. Read the ingredients before ordering. Our chicken gravy also contains beef bone broth, so it is not a chicken-only recipe.
  2. Measure and pour. Add the recommended amount to your dog’s usual kibble. Mix it through if that is how your dog likes it.
  3. Back in the fridge. Reseal the pouch and refrigerate it straight after serving. Follow the storage instructions and dates on your pouch.

Serving our chicken gravy

The feeding guide on our current chicken gravy listings gives these amounts per meal:

Chicken gravy serving guide
Dog’s weight Amount per meal
Up to 10kg 1–2 tablespoons
10–25kg 2–4 tablespoons
25kg and above 4–6 tablespoons

Use the guide on the pouch you receive and adjust your dog’s usual food ration to account for the topper. Fresh drinking water should always be available.

A topper for their usual food

Bran & Birdy’s gravy is a complementary feed for dogs. It is intended to be served alongside a complete dog food. It is not a complete meal on its own.

If your dog has a known food allergy or follows a prescribed diet, check the full recipe and seek advice from the professional managing their diet before adding a new food.

Birdy approves of measuring. Bran was hoping we would skip that bit.
